Rebalance Yourself Therapies
Rebalance Yourself Therapies
Congratulations on taking the first step! It takes courage to acknowledge the need for change.
However you are feeling right now, you are welcome here…
You are worthy. You are enough. You matter and you deserve to feel heard. It is important to have a counsellor who can see that in you, (even if you can’t see it yourself).
My commitment to you is to help you feel comfortable to be honest with yourself and me. I am here to listen to your story and hold you in your healing journey.
I will support you to recognise your problems, reconnect with parts of yourself, regulate your emotions, realise your choices of behaviours and rebalance yourself.
I truly believe that real change and growth happen through the bond and connection I create with my clients. I'll be with you and stand by your side during those difficult moments.
I'm dedicated to helping you navigate your vulnerabilities with compassion. I will provide a safe haven where you can be yourself without judgement or telling you what to do.
My aim is to empower you to make positive changes to become the best possible version of yourself.
“The most important thing is to remember that vulnerability is not weakness, it’s courage.”
— Brene Brown

How does it work?

I will offer a free 20 minute discovery session to see whether you feel like my way of counselling and to see if its suited to your needs. This time aIso allows me to answer any questions you may have.
There is no obligation to commit to sessions there and then! In fact I encourage you to shop around us counsellors to find the best fit for you and your needs.
-
If you decide you would like to proceed after your discovery session, I will email you a copy of our working agreement going forwards. This will outline how we will work together, confidentiality, as well as information and policies.
During our assessment session, we will discuss the working agreement, explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your aims and how we can work together for what best suits you. I will ask a few questions about your history to help me understand a bit more of who you are as a person and what your aims for our sessions together might be.
This session allows you to get a sense of who I am as a counsellor and if I am the best counsellor for you. If I feel that you may benefit working with a counsellor with more specialist knowledge, I will do my best to find someone more suited to your needs.
Hopefully by the end of this session you will feel comfortable that we have worked in collaboration on a way of working together going forward.

These sessions will be 50 minutes of true human to human connection online via zoom.
I believe that it takes time to establish a healthy, trusting relationship where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable. I offer open ended sessions and give you the autonomy to decide how long you would like to continue.
To get the most out of therapy and for it to be most effective these sessions to happen weekly and sometimes fortnightly. This allows me to safely work with you to process what comes up within our sessions.
That being said, at no point are you tied to a set number of sessions, it is your choice. We can end the sessions when you feel it is appropriate and where possible I ask to have an ending session with you where we can review your therapeutic journey and end in a safe manner.
